Dakabin's estates are recent enough that most floors we are asked about are the original builder-grade fit-out. It does its job for a few years, then the carpet flattens in the traffic lanes and the vinyl in the wet areas starts to show. Replacing it with a product chosen for the house rather than the build budget makes a bigger difference than people expect.
Newer slabs are generally flat and dry, which means less prep, a quicker install and a sharper price per square metre.
